The best thing for working for Barratts is the support that you can get from other team members and the recognition you can get when you do hard work within the company. I was fortunate enough to win National Sales Negotiator of the year across the whole of Barratt group nationwide.

Before I started at Barratts, Barratts had a well known name as being one of the top house builders in the industry and I wanted to be a part of that. I saw a job as a sales administrator and thought this was an ideal opportunity  to join Barratts and progress my career and become a Sales Negotiator.

I believe Barratts is developing into a more successful business by investing in good land where they’re in a sort after area we offer government schemes like home buy direct to get first time buyers on the property market and we offer a five year warranty where as other house builders offer a two year warranty so it helps us develop into that more successful business.

While focussing my role as a Sales Negotiator is building the report wit the customer and seeing a smile on their face when they see that final product.

The qualities that you will need to be a Sales Negotiator is working in a team, good organisation skills, and driven to achieve. The most important quality out of them would be working in a team, because if you don’t work in a team you won’t achieve.

I’ve been working with Barratts for four and a half years now working as a Sales Negotiator within the next couple of years I’d like to see my position progress to a Field Sales Manager.
