Improvement Works at Nottinghamshire Hospice
Our North Midlands division recognised the fantastic work that the Nottinghamshire Hospice carries out within the local community and they chose it as their nominated charity.
Employees gave up on their Saturdays to help paint the reception area of the hospice in order to brighten up the room for patients and visitors. In addition to the new paint work, the division also arranged for improvements to be made to the external of the building and to repair damaged internal and external lighting – a saving of almost £10,000 to the hospice.
On top of that, some employee’s also took part in the hospice’s annual Moonlight Memory Walk raising a further £853.
The division enjoy being part of the local community, and although part of a National Company they like to show how they can positively support the community on a local basis.
The feedback and comments back from both the hospice, patients and guests has been great and the division look forward to continuing the relationship with the team at the hospice and want to help out again, where possible, in the future.
